Il y a le black metal, et il y a le true black. Le vrai, le plus evil, grim & frostbitten qui soit. Oubliez ces amateurs de Darkthrone et autres Funeral Mist. Accouché dans la douleur par le déjà terrifiant Seth Putnam, voici Impaled Northern Moonforest et son orgie inversée de blasphèmes nécromaléfiques. Après l'imbécillité gratuite d'Anal Cunt, voici venu l'heure de s'attaquer à la scène true black avec son projet le plus dur (quoique le 'Picnic of Love', ballades d'amour chantées en voix de fausset, valait son pesant de cacahuètes). Armés d'une guitare acoustique, de coussins en guise de batterie et de cuisses en guise de double pédale, Seth et son compère envoient du bois sur dix minutes d'hystérie satanique absolue, entre le bruit du vent fait avec la bouche, les synthés black sympho revus à la sauce Fischer Price, les invocations d'ours gay et de nécroyétis. Et si cela ne vous a pas suffisamment glacé d'effroi, serez-vous capables de survivre à leur nouveau titre, “Return of the Necrowizard” et son clip pétrifiant d'abomination inversée ? Allez, une demi-boule parce que c'est de la merde, et une autre parce que c'est génial.
